Much of the Civil War history found in Franklin is also a part of Spring Hill and there is much history to read about as you pass sites of the Battle of Spring Hill along Main Street
Like their neighboring towns, Spring Hill is home to award-winning schools, outdoor recreation, and public parks. Including Harvey Park, Evans Park, Port Royal Park, and McLemore Park. All of the city parks are non-smoking and alcohol-free. You’ll find playgrounds, splash pads, pavilions and ball fields throughout the parks, which you can reserve for special events. Many of the parks also feature walking trails, basketball and tennis courts, and charcoal grills.
With the rapid growth of Spring Hill came all manner of businesses. From the new Tri-Star Emergency medical Center to the newly expanded General Motors production plant and more, there has been an explosion of employment opportunities. You’ll also find big-name retail locations, home-improvement stores, restaurants and medical services, making “CONVENIENCE” the word for the residents of Spring Hill!
And with Interstates 65 and 840 being nearby, getting anywhere from Nashville, Columbia, Dickson, or Murfreesboro is a breeze.
